The Off-season is usually a pretty quiet time of the year for Hockey fans, but for the City of Brotherly love some noise has been made. The Philadelphia Flyers announced earlier today that they have signed former Blues left winger Chris Porter on a one year deal.
Porter played in 24 games for St. Louis last year, scoring a single goal and a single assist. His entire career has been spent with the St. Louis side as the 6 "1 winger has tallied a total of 27 points over 173 games. The 31 year old also has playoff experience, registering in 15 Stanley Cup playoff games with the St. Louis side.
