This upcoming season, the Philadelphia 76ers are celebrating the 25th anniversary of the ’01 Eastern Conference Championship team. As part of that celebration, the Sixers are not only bringing back the beloved black Iverson-era jerseys, but also their mascot from the same era, Hip-Hop.
Introduced in 1998, Hip-Hop dazzled Sixers fans with his flips and tricks for over a decade and helping to define one of the team's most iconic eras. During the team's 2001 run, Hip-Hop contributed heavily to the memories made for the fans by the team.
According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, Bill Roth, the original Hip-Hop who suited up for Sixers fans for 13 years, will return for the role on specific game dates and for activations.

The first game for both Hip-Hop and the Sixers' throwback uniforms will take place on Saturday, Nov. 8, vs. the Toronto Raptors.
