The legend of Jason Kelce only continues to grow.

Amazon Prime Video recently announced they are releasing a documentary, titled “Kelce”, which will reportedly cover the All-Pro center during the 2022-23 campaign that ended in a Super Bowl loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. The documentary will debut on Amazon Prime on Sept. 12.

Kelce documentary is Prime viewing

Last season was one of the best of Kelce's career, earning Pro-Bowl and First Team All-Pro selections while starting all 17 games. He increased his consecutive start streak to 149 games, with his last missed start in 2014.

He also surpassed Chuck Berdnarik for most games ever played by an Eagles offensive lineman, with 176. Kelce was the anchor of the best offensive line in the NFL and captained the team to the big dance. Kelce may be getting older but he’s still a freak athlete, making up for his lack of size with speed, strength, and intelligence.

Coming into his 13th season, he’s still as good as he’s ever been. Whether this is Kelce’s last season is unknown, but we do know that for at least one more year, the future Hall of Famer and emotional leader will suit up for the Eagles and add to his already fantastic legacy.

Life after football

Whenever Kelce does decide to retire, it seems he’s setting himself up well for a career in media. Before the 2022-23 season, he and his brother, Travis, who’s a tight end for the Chiefs, started a podcast together called New Heights. The show discusses both of their football careers through stories and guest interviews, such as Jalen Hurts, Patrick Mahomes, Andy Reid, and the Kelce parents.

After a few months, the show became the most popular sports podcast of the year, garnering millions of views across numerous platforms. This documentary looks to be the next step in creating the post-playing career in media for Kelce that many NFL pros strive for. The 6th-round draft pick from Cincinnati has already exceeded every expectation imaginable, yet still works to be great in other ways.
