A 23-year-old man was killed in a hit-and-run crash early Thursday morning in Port Richmond, police said.
Officers were called just before 1 a.m. to the 4100 block of N. Delaware Avenue, where they found Brendan Casuscelli lying on the road, according to law enforcement officials. Casuscelli, of Cherry Hill, suffered severe head injuries and died at the scene, authorities stated.
Investigators believe he was struck by a driver who fled the area. Police said they were unable to identify any witnesses in the immediate aftermath of the crash.
