A new event is coming to Philly this weekend, and it blends all things fall with all things cheesy... well, mac and cheesy.

The inaugural Manayunk Fall Fest (11 a.m. to 4 p.m.) and Mac N Cheese Crawl is set for this Saturday, Oct. 18, and festival goers can expect family-friendly activities, 10+ food trucks, 60+ local vendors and artists, seasonal fare, autumn sips, live outdoor music, 3 stages, and a tasty crawl to pick the best mac and cheese in the area.

As a release notes, current participating restaurants for the Crawl include Bar Jawn, Bayou Bar & Grill, Blondie, Cactus Cantina, Canalside Manayunk / Chloe’s Corner, Chabaa Thai Bistro, Cresson Inn, JD McGillicuddys, Lucky’s Last Chance, Manayunk Brewery & Restaurant, Mia Ragazza, PHS Pop Up Garden Manayunk, Ryan’s Pub, Somo Manayunk, Taqueria Amor, The Couch Tomato, The Goat’s Beard and Winnie’s Manayunk.

The crawl (noon to 4 p.m.) is $20 a ticket and includes samples from each stop, an event map, and exclusive crawl-day offers. Otherwise, locals can peruse around the Festival area to check out family-friendly activities, local vendors/artisan makers, food trucks, seasonal treats from neighborhood spots and curated seasonal experiences (like Halloween themed mini golf, pumpkin decorating) or peruse along the Main Street Merchants Fall Decorating Competition to vote (and be entered to win a Manayunk gift card) for their favorite window.

“Manayunk Fall Fest and Mac N Cheese Crawl is the perfect way to celebrate fall in the city,” says Manayunk Development Corporation Branding & Digital Marketing Manager Janine Gasarowski. “We’re bringing together the best of Manayunk — our small businesses, culinary talent, and vibrant community — all in one place for a fun and festive day on Main Street.”

While in Manayunk this time of year, Philadelphians can also check out the Nightmare on Main Street: Halloween Pop-up Bar at Taqueria Amor (which takes inspiration from classic horror films like ‘Nightmare on Elm Street’) or the Lincoln Mill Haunted House. Since its inception in 2022, Lincoln Mill has made locals part of its “living story”, aka an experience made up of over 40 live scare actors, production-quality sets, props, animatronics, and special effects such as fog, strobes, and flashing lights.
