A teenager in Northeast Philly claims he was the victim of a random group assault this weekend, leaving him with three staples in his head and a bruised rib.The 14-year-old boy and his cousin, 15, were attacked on Vandike Street around 4:45 p.m., NBC reported.RELATED:VIDEO: Police seek two suspects who allegedly robbed an Old City barA group of 10 to 12 teenagers approached the victim, asked if he knew a boy named"Robert," and when he said no, began to attack him.The victim tried to escape, but was chased down, grabbed, and rammed into garage doors.Police are investigating the incident.
