The 2026 MLS season has already delivered tons of drama.

Matchday Four is upon us, and there's a lot to look forward to. Which four perfect teams in the West can keep that trend going? Can the Philadelphia Union finally muster a win this year and even a goal against Atlanta United? Will Orlando City find a spark after head coach Oscar Pareja was fired earlier in the week?

We will finally see Josh Sargent make his Toronto FC debut on Saturday. Sargent did not debut against FC Cincinnati last Sunday, even though signs pointed to him making his debut. But things happen. Saturday against the New York Red Bulls will be the day.

The San Jose Earthquakes will face a test against the Seattle Sounders.  San Jose is perfect this season with a 3-0-0 record and zero goals against. Seattle has two wins of their own. I think we all thought that Philly was going to put San Jose to the test last Saturday, but we were wrong.

As always, every match can be seen on Apple TV.

My top five matches to keep an eye on

Toronto FC vs. New York Red Bulls

The debut of Josh Sargent. Toronto picked up a win over Cincinnati on Sunday, while the Red Bulls were upset by Montreal. Sargent's debut feels right to be the first game of Matchday 4. We'll see if Red Bulls can get back on track as well.

Atlanta United vs. Philadelphia Union

Two clubs that haven't won a game yet this season. Will one win? Or will we see a draw? A draw would be hilarious, to be honest.

FC Dallas vs. San Diego FC

Two good clubs in this one, and San Diego is perfect heading into this one. Dallas has a lot of speed on the wings, and San Diego is solid defensively. This should be an entertaining matchup.

Charlotte FC vs. Inter Miami

Charlotte picked up their first win last week over Austin, and Miami beat DC. Charlotte has a great atmosphere, and it'll be packed with Messi in town.

San Jose Earthquakes vs. Seattle Sounders

Sunday Night Soccer! San Jose has been a joy to watch early on, and Seattle will be a great test for them.
