I don't think anyone expected NYCFC to be this strong this early. I don't even think anybody thought they would be leading the East at any point during the year, too! But here we are. Inter Miami will be an excellent test for them.
Charlotte has been finding its groove during this long homestand, and the Red Bulls are coming off a chaotic draw against Toronto. Charlotte managed a 0-0 draw against Miami last week, and that kind of feels like a win in itself.
Charlotte will need the energy to match the Red Bulls' early press and try to open up in transition.
The last time these two clubs met, Philly knocked Chicago out of the playoffs. Chicago has a bit of a different look this year, and Philly has a completely different look.
Philly is still searching for their first win and point of the season, while Chicago is looking to climb up the East. Can Philly finally get a breakthrough, or will they stay at the bottom of the league?
The Texas Derby is always a fun one. Houston is currently one point ahead of Dallas in the West. Houston is coming off a 3-2 win over Portland, and Dallas drew 3-3 with San Diego.
Petar Musa will be the main guy to watch. He's tied for the league lead in goals and netted a hat-trick last week. Jack McGlynn has been a magician in the midfield for Houston, so this match could be electric.
Sunday Night Soccer is always a must-watch. A win for Real Salt Lake will put them ahead of San Diego in the standings. These are two fun clubs to watch this year and will provide great Sunday night entertainment.
