Game recognize game. And you LOVE to see it!
After Eagles traded a 3rd and 5th round pick for star CB Darius Slay, former and current NFL stars took to twitter to give us a glimpse of what kind of a guy Slay is.
Let's dive right into it!
Confirmation by the best CB ever
Deion Sanders did not waste any time backing up Slay, while also providing context to just why he is as good as he is:

Gameplan was simple - where's the WR1?
What Sanders said about Slay was confirmed by fellow CB teammate Jamal Agnew, who plain and simple said the weekly plan was putting Slay on the opposing WR1, don't give him safety help, and let him work:

All-time great WR and former teammate follows up
Former teammate Calvin Johnson, who played with Slay (and against him in practice) from 2013-2015 had some very encouraging words:

League's best CBs knows whats up
2019 DPOY Stephon Gilmore, who also was an All-Pro in 2018 and '19, first recognized Slay in his new (beautiful) uniform:

Subsequently, after people overreacted to a PFF grade in 2019, Gilmore didn't want to hear more of it:

All-Pro CB Jalen Ramsey, who was a fan-favorite trade target a couple months ago, congratulates his guy:

PFF... Is wrong?
Speaking of that PFF grade, they immediately posted a tweet saying Slay was their 83rd ranked CB in 2019. All-pro safety Tyrann Mathieu and CB Joe Haden were not having it:

Newly dealt star WR Stefon Diggs followed up with calling Slay a top 5 CB in the NFL

Footwork on point - and noticed
Slay has been working with the "Footwork king", who trains pro athletes to limit wasted movement, perfecting footwork reaction to opposing players, and improve agility. He posted this (pretty awesome) video:

It caught the eye of maybe the best footwork specialist ever, Chad Johnson:
