If you needed a reason to make more brunch plans, this is it—National Brunch Month has arrived, and Philly is full of can’t-miss menus.

Front Street Cafe

Known for its fresh, farm-to-table bites, brunch at Front Street Cafe spans shareable starters like fried banana bites, buffalo cauliflower, breakfast tacos, and deviled eggs with house-cured salmon, along with entrees like a fully loaded breakfast burrito, whole grain hotcakes and the FSC Benedict with vegan hollandaise and your choice of classic or plant-based options. Reservations are available via OpenTable, and these favorites are served daily from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at this all-day restaurant.

Red Owl Tavern

This Old City spot offers a $25 Mimosa Brunch option, which includes a bottle of sparkling wine paired with orange or cranberry juice with the purchase of any entrée. Bite-wise, locals can also indulge in a tiramisu waffle, beef tallow fries, harissa chicken skewers, a BYO omelette pick and much more. Reservations are available via OpenTable, and brunch is served here on the weekends (breakfast is served daily, check their site for exact hours).

Urban Farmer

On the weekends (from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.), Urban Farmer serves up brunch favorites like monkey bread, potato leek soup, peach pancakes, short rib hash and a crab omelette. Guests can pair dishes with one of Urban Farmer’s Mimosa Kits, offered in three options: one glass of sparkling with juice ($12), one bottle of sparkling with three juices ($45), or two bottles of sparkling with three juices ($80). Additional brunch cocktails include a Bloody Mary and an Espresso Martini Flight ($25) featuring three varieties of espresso martinis with rotating flavors like mint chip, chai, chocolate, and classic.

Barcelona Wine Bar

This tapas spot is perfect for anyone looking to try some shareable Spanish snacks and dishes right off of Passyunk Avenue. On top of elaborate cheese and charcuterie options, Barcelona also serves up olive oil pancakes, eggplant caponata, potato tortillas, a serrano benedict, a variety of paellas and more. Brunch is offered on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and plenty of daytime cocktails (like Bloody Marys and mimosas) are also on deck. Reservations are available via Tock.

The Twisted Tail

At The Twisted Tail in Headhouse Square, weekend brunch brings together Southern-inspired flavors, craft cocktails, and live music. Served Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the menu features bites like cheesy grits, chicken & waffles, and brioche French toast, alongside signature drinks like the Kool Kat and Lynchburg Basil Lemonade. On Sundays, diners can also enjoy half-price bottles of Sparkling Brut, with live music performances from noon to 3 p.m.

Mi Vida

Brunch is a perfect opportunity to check out this new Mexican spot that opened last month in East Market.  Offered Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., locals can try out queso fundido, banana custard French toast, huevos rellenos and more. Mi Vida additionally sports a robust beverage program featuring more than 130 tequilas and mezcals. Alongside the agave-focused spirits, the cocktail menu features house creations that incorporate fresh citrus, seasonal fruits, and traditional Mexican ingredients. Guests can also order up classic margaritas, spirit-forward mezcal cocktails, and a selection of Mexican beers and wines chosen to complement the cuisine, plus some flight options for those who can’t just choose one sip.

WineDive

This one is a bit of a unique order: Recently, WineDive launched the start of its late-night brunch on Sundays and Mondays from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. The new offering is meant for “hospitality industry professionals looking for a bite after clocking out, and night owls who enjoy Philly’s late-night food scene.” On the menu, locals can find a Half Monte (a sandwich made with ham, cheddar, French toast, marmalade and powdered sugar), a Funyun Omelette, and a Belgian waffle with optional ice cream. Drinks span popular sips like Mimosas, Screwdrivers, Garibaldis, and Tequila Sunrises.
