Police released a video and photographs Wednesday in an attempt to identify a man responsible for a fatal shooting last week in Kensington.

Michael Scott-Keitt, 35, was gunned down at around 5:15 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 23, on the 3200 block of Kensington Avenue, according to authorities. Law enforcement officials have not disclosed a possible motive.

The surveillance footage appears to show the suspect exchanging words with two other people, including Scott-Keitt, before pulling out a handgun and firing multiple times.

Detectives described the gunman as a 6-foot Black man with a light complexion and beard who is between 25 and 35 years old. Anyone with information is asked to contact the PPD’s Homicide Unit at 215-686-3334/3335 or call or text the tip line at 215-686-TIPS (8477).

Philadelphia offers a $20,000 reward for tips leading to an arrest and conviction in a murder case.
