A man was killed and at least four other people were injured in separate incidents of gun violence Saturday and Sunday across Philadelphia.

The fatal shooting occurred Saturday morning, just after 7 a.m., when officers were called to the 1600 block of Kinsey Street in Frankford, police said. They found an adult man and rushed him to Temple University Hospital, where he died a short time later, according to authorities.

Law enforcement officials have not publicly identified the victim or commented on a motive. No arrests have been reported.

Two people were shot just before 4:45 a.m. Sunday inside a speakeasy that was operating in a property on 58th Street, just north of Market Street, in West Philadelphia, investigators said.

Police said a man was discovered with a gunshot wound to his back, while a woman had been shot multiple times in her torso. Both were in critical condition and taken in for surgery at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, according to authorities.

Also in West Philadelphia, someone shot a man as he was leaving a bar just before 11:45 p.m. Saturday in the area of 52nd and Stiles streets, investigators said.

Detectives believe he was inside the establishment when a disturbance occurred. He left and was walking away when the suspect pulled out a gun and fired multiple times, police said. The victim was struck in his left calf and hospitalized with nonlife-threatening injuries, law enforcement added.

A 16-year-old boy was shot just before 5 p.m. Saturday on the 2100 block of N. 22nd Street in North Philadelphia, according to police. Officers transported him to Temple University Hospital, where he was expected to physically recover.

No arrests were made in the immediate aftermath of any of the incidents. Anyone with information is asked to call or text the PPD tip line at 215-686-TIPS (8477). Information can be shared anonymously.

Through Oct. 24, 145 people had been murdered in Philadelphia, a decrease of 23% compared to the same date last year, police data shows. The number of overall shooting victims has also dropped nearly 27%.
