A Philadelphia Police Department building was evacuated late Saturday after a suspect's pipe bomb and firearm were found inside.The Attorney General's Gun Violence Task Force brought a suspect in to the 35th District headquarters at 5960 North Broad St. around 10 p.m. The suspect, who was accused of straw purchasing weapons, had a backpack that allegedly contained an assault rifle and a pipe bomb, sources told NBC10.Police said the bomb squad was called, and the entire building was evacuated. The device and weapon were recovered, and the building was cleared at 10:40 p.m. There were no injuries.Officials are investigating the incident, and have not made a statement whether the suspect will face additional charges based on Saturday's evacuation.
