4 reasons to visit the Borgata this summer

Posted

If a summer getaway is on your calendar, Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa has plenty of reasons to head to Atlantic City. The resort is celebrating the season with soccer watch parties, exclusive hotel packages, live entertainment, new seasonal cocktails and relaxing spa experiences that make it a destination long after the beach.

Soccer fun continues

The World Cup continues through July 19,  and guests can catch every match of the world's biggest international soccer tournament at the Borgata Beer Garden, which will host watch parties throughout the competition.

Fans traveling to matches nearby—or cheering from Atlantic City—can also take advantage of exclusive hotel packages. The Watch Party Stay & Play Package, starting at $159, includes a one-night stay and a $75 daily food and beverage credit. The Premium Viewing Suite Package, starting at $299, features accommodations in a Fiore or Vista Suite in the MGM Tower plus a $150 daily food and beverage credit. Lastly, the Ultimate Watch Party VIP Experience, starting at $2,026, includes transportation to and from MetLife Stadium, an overnight stay in the Social Suite, a $500 daily food and beverage credit, a $200 spa credit and a one-day cabana rental at the Borgata Outdoor Pool.

“We are excited to welcome soccer fans from around the world to Borgata this summer during one of the biggest moments in global sports,” says Nik Rytterstrom, President and COO. “As fans travel to experience the excitement surrounding this international tournament, Borgata is proud to provide a place where guests can come together to watch every match, connect with fellow supporters and be part of the unmatched energy and celebration that make this event so special.”

DJ Pauly D pays a visit

Borgata will host DJ Pauly D for its first-ever concert at the Borgata Outdoor Pool, presented by Big Night. Set for later in the summer on Saturday, Aug. 22, the ‘Jersey Shore’ star will hit the stage at 10 p.m. (doors open at 7 p.m.)

Tickets are currently on sale through Borgata’s official website with general admission tickets starting at $35. VIP Standing Area tickets are available starting at $100 and include one drink ticket. VIP cabanas and VIP Daybeds will also be available, with pricing ranging from $500 to $3,500 based on availability.

"DJ Pauly D has long been a favorite performer at Borgata, having taken the stage at the resort’s entertainment venues on multiple occasions, and we’re excited to welcome him back as we expand our nightlife offerings to Borgata’s Outdoor Pool,” says Anthony Caratozzolo, Vice President of Hospitality. “This first-of-its-kind concert will give guests a new way to experience live music at Borgata, while bringing even more energy to summer in Atlantic City.”

Seasonal cocktails take reign

This summer, Borgata is embracing lighter, brighter cocktails that balance fresh flavors with elevated experiences. According to General Manager Dan Jackson, guests are gravitating toward "citrus- and floral-forward drinks, tequila-based favorites and refreshing, sessionable cocktails perfect for warm-weather sipping." Standout offerings include the citrusy Spritz at American Bar & Grille, the fruit-forward Kiwi Energy at B Prime, and poolside favorites like the strawberry margarita, watermelon margarita and tropical Adios Beaches. Guests looking for lighter pours can additionally enjoy the High Wheeler at Long Bar, or head to B Bar, which has remade a tangy margarita into a subtly sweet, berry-forward cocktail with the addition of a "magic" berry.
