Federal agents arrested a man Tuesday morning for allegedly raping a teenager three months ago in Kensington.

Lee Johnson, 26, is accused of sneaking into an 18-year-old woman’s bed and sexually assaulting her June 4 on the 2200 block of E. Somerset Street, authorities said. When she began to scream, he ran away, taking electronics and her purse, according to police.

A warrant for Johnson’s arrest was issued in late June, law enforcement officials said. The U.S. Marshals Service, in a social media post, confirmed that it apprehended Johnson while executing a search warrant on the 5900 block of Belden Street in Oxford Circle.

Johnson is expected to be charged with aggravated indecent assault, burglary and unlawful restraint. His defense attorney could not be identified through court records Tuesday.
