Philadelphia 76ers burgeoning superstar, Tyrese Maxey, has leveled up his game to start the 2025-26 season, and Ronnie "2K" Singh and his team at 2K Games have taken notice.
In their most recent update on Nov. 20, Tyrese Maxey replaced Paolo Banchero as one of the 23 players in the NBA with a rating of 90 or higher. Maxey rose from 89 to 90 while Banchero dipped from 90 to 89.
This is a major accomplishment for the newly turned 25-year-old who is currently playing at an All-NBA caliber level. In 15 games thus far, Maxey is averaging 33.4 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 7.9 assists per game- all career highs. He has put the Sixers on his back to the tune of a 9-6 record, even with Joel Embiid and Paul George missing extended time thus far.
If Maxey continues to perform at this rate, he should see that rating tick up even more by season's end. He has been one of the best players to date in this NBA regular season, and he now has the virtual rating to back it up.
Make no mistake about it: Tyrese Maxey is elite.
