A 16-year-old girl was struck by a stray bullet Thursday night in the Hunting Park section of Philadelphia, ABC6 reported.
The incident reportedly happened around midnight near 7th and Luzerne Streets.

The girl, who was not the intended target, was shot in her left thigh while sitting on the steps outside her home. She was taken to Temple University Hospital, Philly.com reported.
Police are investigating the circumstances of the shooting and hope surveillance footage can lead to more insight.
