Stray bullets hit baby’s crib in Deleware

Police in New Castle County, Delaware say stray bullets from a shooting entered a home and hit a baby’s crib in the county’s Edgemoor Gardens neighborhood on Monday evening.

One man was wounded in the shooting, but the baby, who was sleeping in the portable crib, was not injured.

Police say the man who was shot was in his 20’s but did not release his identify. He was taken to Christiana Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.

Two gunmen were seen fleeing the scene. Police were unable to locate them.
