Eat out for a good cause during the second annual Dine Out for the Environment. All day Thursday, Oct. 15, someof our favorite restaurants around the city (and one in the ‘burbs) are celebrating — and encouraging — being mindful of our effects on the environment by donating 15 to 30 percent of their proceeds to the Clean Air Council.
The restaurants participating are already making an effort towards being more eco-friendly by sourcing local food, using recycled products, composting, cooking up vegan dishes, and more.
