A recent survey conducted by TD Bank found that most small business owners in Philadelphia are more excited than anxious for the year ahead. Seventy-three percent of small business owners expect to meet or exceed their projected revenue goals this year, up from 69 percent who felt that way in 2013. Sixty-two percent are optimistic about their business opportunities in 2015 and 54 percent are projecting a growth in sales and revenue this year. This is up from 48 percent who projected revenue growth for the coming year in 2013. Thirteen percent of Philadelphia small business owners even reported that they except 2015 to be their best year to date. Though it may seem like big box stores and mega companies are taking over the city, small businesses are still thriving in the city.
