An early Monday carjacking ended in a crash in the Olney neighborhood, sending one injured victim to the hospital.
A 21-year-old suspect was taken into custody after Philadelphia police said he carjacked a man at 13th and Rockland streets, starting a car chase that ended in a crash one mile away, NBC reported.

Police responded to the call about a stolen vehicle shortly after midnight, CBS added.
As police pursued the car, the suspect attempted to outrun them, leading police to the area of 6thStreet and Fisher Avenue in Olney, according to NBC, where a crash occurred.
Authorities told CBS that the stolen car struck a vehicle in the intersection before crashing into several parked cars. Police were then able to take the suspect into custody.

The victim was taken to Einstein Medical Center for treatment, where he was later released, police said to NBC. There is no word on what charges the suspect will face.
