Amada’s New Year’s Eve Feast and The Olde Bar New Year’s Eve Surf & Turf
Saying goodbye to 2020 can be as fancy as you want it to be with Amada’s celebratory feast. The seven-course experience from Jose Garces’ hotspot is available to take home for $80 per person (with a minimum of two people) and ready-to-heat instructions. The meal includes family-style portions of strip steak with veal short rib, scallop pappardelle, crab-stuffed piquillo peppers, garlic shrimp, fennel and chicory salad, and brussels sprouts finished with a Spanish-style cheesecake. The meal is available to pick up at Garces’ other Old City location, The Olde Bar—but that hotspot is also offering their own deal if you want something a bit different. This particular location is offering a Surf and Turf meal for $65 per person (with a minimum of two people) and ready-to-heat instructions. The Olde Bar’s meal comes with family-style portions of prime rib with bordelaise and horseradish crème fraiche, half poached lobster for each guest, herb-roasted fingerling potatoes, artichoke gratin, green salad with grapefruit, Parker House rolls, and chocolate caramel layer cake.

Delice et Chocolat
If you’re spending your New Year’s holiday in Ardmore, Delic et Chocolat has a treat for you in the form of a gourmet dinner. Garces Favorites NYE Cocktail Party
Having a feast on the last night of the year sounds good, but what about the apps? Garces’ new trading company also has that and is offering Philadelphians a selection of their favorite small plates from Garces restaurants to simulate an at-home “cocktail hour” with your household. This meal, in particular, comes with family-style portions of whipped feta and garden vegetables (JG Domestic), bacon-wrapped dates (Amada), crab fingers (The Olde Bar), shrimp cocktail (The Olde Bar), deviled eggs (Village Whiskey), and Spanish meatballs and manchego-stuffed cherry peppers (Amanda). This package comes out to be $45 per person for a minimum of two people and requires 2 days notice.
Germantown Garden Grill and Kids Countdown to New Year’s with Cinderella at the Igloos
This Northern Liberties hotspot is offering two different experiences for Philadelphians to enjoy. First, diners can experience three different seatings for dinner at 5, 7 and 9 p.m. The dinner is going to be held at their outdoor tables with heaters or heated igloos and comes out to be $75 per person. Dishes include an app, entree, dessert and endless champagne, and each table will also receive a champagne bottle to go for a champagne toast at midnight to enjoy at home. However, earlier in the day (at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.) kids also will be able to ring in the New Year as well. According to a release, Glu Hospitality and A Dash of Magic Events are hosting the Kids’ Countdown to New Year’s Eve with Cinderella at the Igloos at Germantown Garden Grill. This socially-distanced magical dining experience will include 90 minutes at a private, exclusive and heated igloo just for you and your immediate family members. Philadelphians can get ready to enjoy a safe and socially-distanced photo opportunity, songs from the princesses story and a grand entrance. Each reservation will also receive a private Cinderella visit per each Igloo, a souvenir, and princess themed activity sheets, plus a special holiday dessert. Tickets are $15 per person for Igloo seating and $10 per person for outdoor seating without the Igloo. A portion of each ticket will go to charity, and provide a free princess appearance for children in need through the Salvation Army.

Positano Coast New Year’s Eve – Take-Out Special
If you want something special look no further than Positano Coast’s New Year’s Eve eight course dinner. The menu runs for $120 for two people and includes eight different apps and a bottle of bubbly. The menu consists of crab tacos, a seafood basket, artichoke fries, an arugula salad, mozzarella and bottarga, lamb meatballs, diver scallops and tirimasu. With the food comes a bottle of Prosecco, and tax is included in the price. This meal must be ordered by Dec. 29 and will be available for pickup on Dec. 31.

The menu will be comprised of kuri squash veloute, seared diver scallops, crispy veal sweetbreads, grilled beef striploin and sticky toffee pudding. Guests can head to the patio for dinner or book the private greenhouse by calling the restaurant and making a reservation.
