The sweltering summer season is in full effect. One of the best ways to beat the heat is with a frozen treat, and this month, Famous 4th Street Delicatessen, in partnership with The Franklin Fountain, unveils a new, collaborative frozen menu.

“Collaborating with Franklin Fountain was such a no-brainer. As two family-owned businesses, we share a deep commitment to our craft, our community, and the traditions that make this city special,” said owner Al Gamble.

Among the new refreshingly cool options are the Famous Chipwich, made with Famous 4th Street Delicatessen’s best-selling chocolate chip cookie filled and a choice of The Franklin Fountain vanilla or chocolate ice cream.

Want a bit more of that craveable ice cream? Then there’s good news: It comes in pints. The Franklin Fountain’s Famous ice cream pints deliver a combination of delicious flavors, retro plating, and even fit an on-the-go lifestyle. Available in four signature flavors, folks can enjoy The Franklin Fountain’s vanilla, chocolate, sea salt caramel, and caramelized banana ice cream options.

Last but certainly not least, the Famous Chipwich isn’t the only powerhouse combo featured on this menu. The new Famous Floats combine The Franklin Fountain’s ice cream with a variety of Dr. Brown sodas. Folks can enjoy three different signature flavors, including The Classic, made with vanilla ice cream and Dr. Brown’s Root Beer; the Chocolate Cherry Bomb, a combination of chocolate ice cream and Dr. Brown’s Black Cherry soda; and the Banana Cream, which features caramelized banana ice cream and Dr. Brown’s Cream Soda.
