Taney Dragons fans demand the team receive a rematch

Six months ago, the eyes of Philadelphia were riveted on the Taney Dragons and rocket-hurler Mo’Ne Davis, 13 as they went to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa.
The Dragons finished in third place and got a victory celebration in LOVE Park hosted by Mayor Michael Nutter.
But with a decision to disqualify Chicago’s Jackie Robinson West team, which knocked out the Dragons, then went on to beat Las Vegas and take the U.S. title, some fans want the Dragons to get the recognition they deserve.
Jackie Robinson West used an illegal map and pulled players from outside their boundaries, according to Little League International. They lost the world title to South Korea.
The U.S. title was awarded to the Las Vegas team, but no mention was made of the Dragons and no rematch was announced.
