Taylor Swift fans are already gearing up for the singer’s stop in the City of Brotherly Love this weekend, but actually, there are some local spots celebrating for the occasion as well—and we’ve got the scoop on them all. Here is where to gear up and get ready for when Taylor Swift comes to Philly, even if you didn’t score tickets to the shows.
Latchkey
East Passyunk Avenue’s independently-owned vinyl record and retail store is planning to throw a Taylor Swift pre-game party on Friday, May 12, from 5 to 7 p.m. According to a release, all Taylor Swift vinyl (including exclusive copies of Swift’s latest record-breaking album ‘Midnights‘) will be 10% off, DJ Marc Faletti will be spinning Taylor Swift tunes (digitally), and complimentary glasses of a mini-cocktail aptly dubbed “Red” will be provided for those 21+ in attendance.
Additionally, those partaking in the first-ever pregame at Latchkey can join in on “Era’s (Latchkey’s Version)”, an expertly curated Taylor Swift-centric board game which includes a mix of Taylor Swift trivia and monopoly-style gameplay for any number of players. Two boards will be available for folks to jump in and play, the release finishes.

The Dutch
This breakfast, lunch and dinner hotspot is celebrating the iconic songstress with a trio of cocktails. The Lavender Haze ($15) for one boasts gin, sparkling wine, simple syrup and lemon juice, and is then garnished with butterfly pea flowers. The Getaway (Side)Car ($15) on the other hand is fashioned with Jamaican rum, cognac, pineapple shrub, and lime juice, and finally, the White Horse ($15) is made with pear and cardamom-infused vodka, house-made coffee liqueur, and is topped with a cream float.
The three libations will be available at the East Passyunk Spot this Friday, May 12, to Sunday, May 14.

Xfinity Live!
Xfinity isn’t just for sports and beer—it’s also for Swifities. On May 12, 13 and 14, the South Philly venue is partnering up with Le Petite Fete to host Tay-Gates—a colorful pregame party featuring a DJ, dance party, curated themed cocktails, photo booths, activations, a costume contest and much more. The festivities will take place at Xfinity’s outside plaza and Bud Light Seltzer Stage, with tickets running for $50, and they include admission and access to a complimentary food buffet.

Assembly Rooftop Lounge
Assembly is celebrating this weekend with the addition of a new cocktail—their own take on the Lavender Haze made with butterfly tea infused Stateside Vodka, St. Germain, lime, and club soda for $16. This specific addition to the menu will be available this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. And while at the rooftop lounge this weekend, visitors will also be able to check out everything the venue’s seasonal pop-up, The Grove, has to offer.
The second season of The Grove recreates an Italian coastal summertime escape in the heart of Philadelphia and is adorned with matching decor, and “refreshing citrus libations, invigorating apertifs and Mediterranean menus.”
Highlighted bites include the Lobster Roll ($21) served with chive aioli and local chips; Halibut Bionchetti Limon ($18) with Ligurian olive oil, parsley, and rucola; Salmon Fritto ($16) with Jail Island salmon, limoncello aioli, and pickled caper salad; and Oysters ($16) served with cucumber mignonette. The drinks-menu on the other hand includes the Walking in Sicily ($17) with Bahnez mezcal, Ancho Reyes Verde, grapefruit cordial, lime, and grapefruit; Coastal Clear ($17) with Malfy con Limone Gin, basil infused dry vermouth, lemon olio zucchero; and the Pep Talk ($17) with Tito’s vodka, Cocchi Americano, strawberry-pink-peppercorn syrup, and lemon.
