Tea with the Sugarplum Fairy

Young ballet fansdanced their way into the ballroom at the Doubletree Hotel yesterday for Tea with the Sugarplum Fairy. There wasface-painting, photo ops, and a classicsit-down teawith sandwiches and cakes, before everyone headedacross the street to the Academy of Music for the Pennsylvania Ballet’s performance of “George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker.”

The tea party is happening again Dec. 19 at noon. Tickets for the tea and performance start at $67. Reserve a seat at Paballet.org.
