A teenager was killed early Monday morning in a crash involving two stolen cars in Upper Roxborough, police said.
Officers responded at around 2 a.m. to the 7300 block of Hill Road, where they found an injured male, described as being in his late teens, authorities said. He succumbed to his injuries about five hours later at Lankenau Medical Center, according to investigators.
Police said he had been driving a stolen car when he crashed; then, another driver, also in a stolen car, struck him. A male was apprehended at the scene, authorities said.
No further details about the circumstances surrounding the crash were released Monday afternoon by police, and authorities have not publicly identified the deceased driver or suspect.
