Real Housewife Teresa Giudice spills ‘The Tea’ at City Winery

Teresa Giudice is known for her many appearances on reality TV — she’s the hot-headed, table flipper from Bravo Network’s ‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey‘ and was later a contestant on Donald Trump’s ‘The Celebrity Apprentice 5’ and Season 31 of ‘Dancing with the Stars.’

But how many of us really know Teresa Giudice

There’s the notorious Teresa Giudice, and then there’s a proud, adoring mother, author of several ‘New York Times’ bestselling cookbooks, and Apple podcaster (‘Turning the Tables).

And this week, the Real Housewife is digging deep into the real Giudice with her first ever live event, The Tea, at City Winery Philadelphia on Sept. 26, where she’ll present the truth-or-something-like-it, live on stage, along with taking questions from the audience.

Attendees can see for themselves see how the Princeton, New Jersey native has changed the dialogue — of popular culture, and of empowered womanhood — during her time on the Real Housewives franchise.

“You have seen my life, unscripted, for the last 15 years,” says Giudice. “You have been inside my life, good times and bad times, happy, sad – you’ve been through it all with me. And it’s been pretty amazing, too.”

Giudice has been pleased that her fans have been able to share in the quieter, warmer, happier moments of her televised life, such as watching her with her daughters and her marriage to Luis “Louie” Ruelas that was aired on Bravo for 2023’s ‘Teresa Gets Married.’

“Everyone watched me fall in love with a wonderful guy who is a great husband to me, and a great stepfather to my daughters — I couldn’t ask for anything more,” she says. “That’s what defines me, being the mother I am to my daughters.”

But, would Giudice be happy if Season 14 was her last ‘Real Housewives’?

“No, because I believe that there is a lot more of me to be seen out there,” she says. “I think that I have a lot more to share.”

Besides, along with her podcast, and the October start date of her role in the second season of the reality competition series ‘House of Villains’, Giudice also has Thursday’s City Winery show, The Tea.

“I can’t wait to come back to Philly,” she said. “I think that the fans want to get to know me better, play games, talk. I’ve felt close to those fans who have watched me for 15 years.”

Giudice will have a surprise guest, ‘The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s Angie Katsanevas. “I love her, she’s Greek, I’m Italian, I feel as if we share similar cultures, and I want to get to know her better.”

Giudice adds that she thinks audiences will come away from The Tea with more than you bargained for.

“I think that you’re going to get a real read on who I am,” she says. “And, I think that I’m going to get to know you better, too.”
