Authorities are looking for the driver of a Tesla involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash Monday evening in Germantown.
Dia Sekou Lee, 21, was walking across Germantown Avenue at Coulter Street at around 6:45 p.m. when she was struck by the vehicle, police said. She was rushed to Einstein Medical Center, where she died a short time later.
Lee lived a couple blocks away, on Wayne Avenue, according to authorities.
Investigators released a surveillance image Tuesday of a gray Tesla with heavy damage to its windshield and right front bumper and fender. Police said the car was last seen turning on Wister Street.
