Can you feel the heat? Despite the painfully cold weather we’ve been experiencing in Philly, with the announcement of James Beard Award nominees today is at least firing up kitchens around our chilly city.
While we were pretty excited when 20 Philly restaurants, restaurateurs and chefs made the semifinalists list few weeks ago, only seven made it to the next round and most of them are Philly food heavy hitters already. (Zahav has a total of three nominations, for example.)
