Two of the three people killed Wednesday in two separate shootings have been identified.
Petranella London, 24, of Brooklyn, N.Y., was fatally wounded along with a 24-year-old man inside a second-floor apartment on the 3000 block of Redner Street around 2:30 p.m. Police have not released the man’s identity.
About five hours later, authorities found 18-year-old Tanisha McIntyre, of the 1900 block of North 25th Street, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds at the intersection of 30th and Jefferson streets. She was pronounced dead at Temple University Hospital. No suspects have been identified in either shooting, and there is no indication whether they were related.
McIntyre’s shooting occurred across the street from a small park, marked by small yellow circles from the police Crime Scene Unit. A few blocks away, outside the entrance to the scene inside the apartment, white roses left scattered across the sidewalk presumably made for a spur-of-the-moment memorial.
