Three men were wounded in separate shootings in broad daylight Tuesday afternoon.
Just before 3 p.m., a 40-year-old man was shot in his chest outside on the 100 block of N. Yewdall Street in West Philadelphia, authorities said. He was rushed to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in critical condition.
Earlier, at around 1:15 p.m., two men were struck when gunfire erupted near the corner of 54th Street and Lindbergh Boulevard, near Bartram’s Garden in Southwest Philadelphia.
Police said a 21-year-old man was hospitalized with seven gunshot wounds. He was listed in serious condition but is expected to survive, authorities added.
The other victim, a 40-year-old man, was shot in his right leg and left hand, according to investigators. His injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Officers did not immediately apprehend any suspects in either shooting.
