After gaining acclaim as the singer, keyboard player and guitarist for the early ’90s alternative rock band Stereolab, Laetitia Sadier has been making her own music since 2010. She just released a new record, “Something Shines,” which explores the philosophy of Guy Debord and other insights into life through lyrics and texturally diverse production.

David Berkeley writes songs of the Americana acoustic variety, citing Paul Simon, Nick Drake and Neil Young as some of his influences. He’s celebrating the release of his latest album “Cardboard Boat.” Multi-instrumentalist Adrien Reju’s recent record, “Strange Love and the Secret Language,” is a collection of songs that deviate from her typical folksy style.
