Tianna Edwards, the Philadelphia woman charged in the drowning death of 7-year-old Isear Jeffcoat, was arrested Wednesday nightand arraigned on theft by unlawful taking, theft by deception, forgery, receiving stolen property and securing execution of documents by deception charges.
Edwards, 30, is being held on $750,000 bail for prior charges related to the drowning death last year.
Edwards was in January charged with involuntary manslaughter and endangerment for allegedly contributing to Jeffcoat’s death by failing to properly oversee his care.
She is scheduled for a preliminary hearing April 25 for the theft and other related charges.
