Pennsylvania Senator Pat Toomey stopped by pollsearly Tuesday morning to chat with voters, but reports say the Republican politician up for reelection won’t cast hispick for president until late tonight.
In a tight race against Democratic challenger Katie McGinty, the incumbent senator visited a polling location in Orefield, Pennsylvania, just after 9 a.m.

Several reports, including one from McGinty’s campaign, said Toomey won’t vote until 6:45 p.m. Polls in Pennsylvania close at 8 p.m.
For several months, Toomey has faced criticism for declining to take a stance on his party’s presidential nominee. Earlier this month, Toomey said he’d “probably” get around to letting Pennsylvanians know if he’s voting for Donald Trump.
That still hasn’t happened.
Unless Toomey makes an announcement before heading to his polling location, millions of voters in the key swing state will head to the polls to cast a vote in the hard-fought senatorial race without knowing if their incumbent supports Trump.
McGinty’s campaign spokesman issued the following statement in an emailon the matter: “Pat Toomey is officially the most craven and self-interested politician in the country. Let’s be clear here: Pat Toomey is intentionally waiting until millions of his constituents have already voted today before making clear to them who he supports to be our next commander in chief.”
