From a goodbye from The Who at the Xfinity Mobile Arena to George Clinton & the Parliament-Funkadelic, this weekend is full of must-watch concerts throughout the Philadelphia area.

One of the greatest rock bands of all time, The Who, is saying goodbye after an incredible run that lasted nearly six decades. During their ‘The Song Is Over North America’ tour, the legendary band, named to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990, will make a stop at the recently renamed Xfinity Mobile Arena, formerly the Wells Fargo Center. Taking the stage tonight, this generation group will thrill crowds in Philadelphia one last time in a can’t-miss performance. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Andy Grammar at the Parx Xcite Center

Multi-platinum pop artist, Andy Grammer, is taking the stage at the Parx Xcite Center for a one-night-only show on Friday, Aug. 22. Releasing his latest album in October of 2024, Grammer is touring across the United States, sharing a new and personal sound that departs from his often optimistic and bright disposition, show a side of Grammer that even he hadn’t ventured to before. Monster isn’t a complete departure from what attracted fans to Grammer, but it embraces the wild turns life often takes.  Doors open at 7 p.m. Saturday night.

George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic at Wind Creek Event Center

A certified music icon, George Clinton returns to Philadelphia for a funk-filled performance at the Wind Creek Event Center on Saturday, Aug. 23. The Prime Minister of Funk, who redefined a genre and generation, will be in Bethlehem, this weekend, showcasing his signature style and sound that made him the global star that he is today. Saturday’s show begins at 8 p.m., doors open at 6 p.m.
