Upper Dublin Township police are asking for the community’s help after a tortured dead puppy was found abandoned in a crate.
Police said they found the 6-month to 1-year-old pit bull terrier in an area near Welsh Road near Blair Mill Road in Willow Grove on Wednesday.

“She was discovered inside a metal cage which was had been wrapped in plastic and sealed with tape,” police wrote in a Facebook post. “Pieces of drywall were used as the bedding for the crate.”
Police have asked anyone with information regarding this investigation to contact the UDPD Detective Division at 215-646-2101.
