The Birds are getting ready for the big game this Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys, but Philadelphians can start off early with these Eagles treats and eats from local spots.

El Merkury

Eagles fans can find a sweet deal here as the Central American eatery will be serving up their famous churros, but with a twist. Fitted in the team’s Kelly-green, the churros are available for pick-up at both Reading Terminal Market and El Merkury’s Rittenhouse-area flagship location on Chestnut Street.

And as a release states, for foodies who have never tried El Merkury’s homemade churros, all expectations of the typical stick-shaped dessert can be wiped away: El Merkury creates churro loops in a foot-high circle, then stuffs them down into soft serve. The churros come with a side of caramel and chocolate for dipping, and will be available all day Monday through Saturday at El Merkury Chestnut Street, and exclusively on Sundays between 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Reading Terminal Market.

Brewerytown Food Hall

Brewerytown Food Hall is a great option if you have a group with wildly different tastebuds, because this venue is home to multiple ghost kitchens of Glu Hospitality venues. For Birds games specifically, Philadelphians can find $10 Miller Lite pitchers, $5 Green Tea shots and city wides, green chimichurri wings, kitchen sink nachos, a snack platter and much more.

Cake Life Bake Shop

This bakery is offering a savory treat (that also happens to be one of Jason Kelce’s favorite sausages)—the Kielbasa Hungry Dog to honor the Eagles. The bite features croissant dough wrapped around a Swiacki’s Kielbasa (as Cake Life says to “pay homage to the underdog spirit of the Eagles”) and can be purchased in a 3-pack in-store, ($8) or preordered in a 12-pack ($28) via the venue’s website.

The bakery also serves Eagles Cookies ($4.50 for 1 or $49 for 12) and can be purchased on any day throughout the season (some items are also available for preorder.)

Poi Dog

To bring some flavor to your Eagles support, Poi Dog has teamed up with Crunchik’n, the woman-owned Korean fried chicken restaurant, to create the pineapple-y Huli Huli Chicken Wings—aka Korean-style wings marinated for 24 hours in Poi Dog’s signature savory Huli Huli sauce.

The wings are exclusively available on game days during hours of operation (available for takeout, delivery, and catering), and wings can be purchased in different sizes: 5 wings ($11.45), 8 wings ($16.95), and 10 wings ($17.45). As a release states, Eagles supporters will also find the Crunch Dog ($7.25) on the menu, a Korean corndog “masterpiece” slathered in Poi Dog’s Huli Huli sauce, with notes of sweet pineapple, deeply savory miso, and a fragrant Chinese five-spice sauce.

Tradesman’s

This Center City sports bar is a popular spot for most of the teams here, and for good reason. Apart from having plenty of viewing space, Trademan’s also consistently offers themed food and drinks specials, and for the Eagles this year, offerings will include a six-foot-long giant cheesesteak for the table ($90) a Bird Gang Burger ($17), smoked wings ($15) and more.

Bar-wise, options span some Eagles and Penn State specials with highlighted picks including a Penn Stateside Bucket (5 seltzers for $40), or themed cocktails like “That Kelly Jawn.”
