Two men were in critical condition following a broad daylight shooting Thursday in North Philadelphia.
Shots were fired just after 1 p.m. on the 600 block of Diamond Street, police said. A 28-year-old man was shot four times, and the other victim, also a 28-year-old man, was struck in both hands and sustained a graze wound to his head.
Both were taken to Temple University Hospital in a private vehicle, according to authorities.
A 32-year-old man was stabbed in the neck and forearm at around 11:15 a.m. Thursday near the corner of 4th and Ontario streets in North Philadelphia, police said. He was rushed to Temple University Hospital and is expected to survive.
On Wednesday night, just after 9:15 p.m., officers were called to the 4200 block of Wyalusing Avenue in West Philadelphia, where they found a 35-year-old woman who had been shot twice in the back and once in the elbow, investigators said.
Police took her to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where she was later listed in stable condition.
In Kensington, a 34-year-old man was shot once in the head and twice in the abdomen just before 8:45 p.m. Wednesday on the 3100 block of Hartville Street, authorities said.
He was rushed to Temple University Hospital in critical condition.
No arrests were made in the immediate aftermath of any of the shootings.
