Two men in eastern Pennsylvania have been charged with homicide after they allegedly tied a man to a tree and left him there for almost a day, reports said.
Authorities in Schuylkill County said they found 26-year-old Bryan Smith in a wooded area early Tuesday after the suspects turned themselves in. According to the Associated Press, police said the men led Smith into the woods, had him sit with his back to a tree, bound him to the tree and left him. Police said Smith was left in the heat and humidity for 20 hours and when the suspects returned they found him dead.
Keith Reber, 48, and Daniel Dull, 25, have been charged with homicide, kidnapping, assault, conspiracy and related charges.
Police said the men knew each other, but it is still unclear why Reber and Dull allegedly tied Smith to a tree.
