Two men were shot Friday night inside the playground of the Lower Mayfair Recreation Center located at 3000 Levick St.
Police said gunshots rang out shortly after 9 p.m.
A 20-year-old white man was shot once in the upper chest and a 21-year-old black man was shot once in the stomach and once in each thigh.
The first victim was hospitalized in critical condition at Temple University Hospital.
The second victim was transported by private vehicle to Nazareth Hospital, where he was placed in critical condition and scheduled to be airlifted by helicopter Friday night to Temple University Hospital.
Police said a gun was recovered from the scene but no arrests had yet been made Sunday.
