Two shot during violent feud between families in Hunting Park

Two young men are injured after a feud between two families escalated to violence and gunfire, Philly.com reported.

The incident reportedly took place early Tuesday morning around 12:30 a.m. on the 3900 block of Percy Street.

“A 23-year-old man was shot twice and is in critical condition,” ABC Philly reported. “A 26-year-old man was shot three times and is in stable condition.”

Both were taken to Temple University in critical condition.

Chief Inspector Scott Small told Philly.com the scene of the crime showed “obvious signs of a struggle,” such as blood stains, knives and broken glass.

The suspected shooter reportedly fled with his family, which included a 1-year-old. Philly.com reported that investigators know the identity of the suspected gunman but have not released it.
