Who dat? Who dat gonna beat … that Saints fan?
Philadelphia police officers will go undercover in New Orleans Saints gear for the NFC wild-card playoff game between the Saints and Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field on Saturday night.
Why? To catch any unruly Eagles fans who might take things too far with fans of the opposing team.
Third District Community Policing Officer Mike Duffy sent out a warning on Twitter on Thursday night. It reads: @PhillyPolice will be wearing @Saints jerseys & hats, be careful who you pick on @LFFStadium during @Eagles game.
The Eagles and Saints are scheduled to kick off their playoff game at 8:10 p.m. It is the Eagles’ first home playoff game since Jan. 9, 2011, when they lost 21-16 to the eventual Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers.
