(UPDATE) ‘Swiss Cheese Pervert’ arrested at his Norristown home

Now he’s saying “cheese” — for his mugshot.

Chris Pagano, 41, known internationally as the “Swiss Cheese Pervert,” was arrested Thursday and charged with stalking, indecent exposure, harassment and open lewdness, police said.

The charges stem from three incidents, all around Frankford and Cottman avenues, all within the first week of 2014, where victims came forward to make reports to police.

But neighborhood leaders said they have suspected the Swiss Cheese Pervert was Chris Pagano, who has a criminal record of indecent behavior involving a piece of cheese, since reports began to circulate of a man asking women to masturbate him with a piece of Swiss cheese. A Philadelphia Magazine reporter event went to Pagano’s home and photographed him.

“We … actually knew before [Philadelphia Magazine] went to his home,” claimed Mayfair Civic Association chairman Joseph DeFelice in an email on Sunday.

News of the Swiss Cheese predator’s activities was made public last week on the Mayfair Town Watch Facebook page, when Town Watch members posted a photograph of a man who allegedly approached and harassed women around the neighborhood.

“Good Morning Mayfair! Please be aware of the Swiss Cheese Pervert!” read the post on the Town Watch’s Facebook page. “This individual is driving around surrounding communities and exposes himself to women. He offers them money to watch him put swiss cheese on his privates.”

The suspect was described by Town Watch members as a white heavyset male in his 40s or 50s, driving a newer model silver or black sedan.

Furthermore, many women have reportedly been harassed on online dating sites such as Match.com and OkCupid by a person asking for their participation in a Swiss cheese-related sex act.

One of them even shared a letter that the alleged cheese-loving Don Juan sent her.

“Cheese is what I started to use as a replacement for having sex with girls,” he allegedly wrote in a message on the OKCupid dating service to the Bridesburg woman.

She said he asked her to use cheese to perform masturbation on him.
