Philly’s fast-rising purveyors of pop-punk, Valendina, are releasing their newest five-song EP, ‘Sweeten The Victory,’ later this month and will take the stage at PhilaMOCA to celebrate the release.

Valendina, fronted by powerhouse vocalist and bassist Karina Patricelli, considers this new EP the sonic and stylistic older sister to the band’s ‘Soften the Blow.’

“Communication is hard, especially when it comes to saying the things that really matter,” says Patricelli. “Honesty means voicing truths you never thought you could — and that kind of vulnerability can be terrifying. But there’s real power in finally letting go of what you’ve been holding inside. In the end, speaking your truth might just be one of life’s sweetest victories.”

‘Sweeten the Victory’ will be released on Wednesday, Aug. 15, and Valendina will host a celebration show at PhilaMOCA one week later.

Following their celebration performance, the band will continue to make stops across Greater Pennsylvania including shows at the Electric City Music Conference in Scranton, on Sept. 12; the Jam House in Akron, Ohio on Sept. 19; a show the next day with a to-be-announced location in State College; a performance at Roxyunk Porchfest in Roxborough and Manayunk, on Oct. 11; back in Philly at Philly Style on Oct. 25; and finally at the Liberty Tarven in Woodlyn, on Nov. 1.

Valendina will take the stage at PhilaMOCA (531 N 12th St.) on Wednesday, Aug. 22. For more information, visit valendina.my.canva.site.
