This weekend in the city is filled with love, and if you’re looking to spend it with your No. 1, here are some of the best dates for Valentine’s Day in Philadelphia.

Betsy Ross House

Those looking to find a date this weekend can opt to check out one of the Betsy Ross House’s signature events. “Tipsy History: A Love Story” will be offered at 5:30, 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 14 and 15, and while there, visitors will hear “a love story for the ages when you meet a young Betsy Ross just after she elopes with her husband, John.”

The evening continues in the House with a love-themed tour and a handcrafted love potion cocktail (guests must be 21 or older.) Tickets ($27) are available online.

Lincoln Mill Haunted House

This one is for everyone who loves being scared as much as they love their Valentine. “Viktor’s Valentine: A Dark Love Story” is the only Valentine’s themed haunted house in the city of Philadelphia, and it features over 40 scare-actors and a themed, immersive story. The candle-lit experience has open time slots between 7 and 9:15 p.m. on Feb. 14 and 15, and tickets ($35) are available online. Souvenir t-shirts and VIP tickets to skip the line ($50) are also available.

Philadelphia Museum of Art  

Those who head to the PMA on the holiday can hang in the venue’s Friday Night Lounge (5 to 8:30 p.m.) to check out live music and locally sourced spirits and wines. The evening also features an opportunity to explore the museum’s galleries. Tickets ($7-$15, free for museum members) are available online.

Puttshack

Puttshack boasts a food and beverage program, live entertainment and four different 9-hole highly competitive mini golf courses. The venue uses “Trackaball technology” where each player creates a unique player profile synced to their own individual golf ball at the start of gameplay.

For Valentine’s Day in Philadelphia, Puttshack is offering a little extra incentive to visit: Anyone who comes to play on Feb. 14 will receive a free round of mini golf (available to redeem online or in person from Feb. 16 to March 16.) The space will also hold a limited-time Valentine’s Day-themed photo booth for the holiday.

Stratus Rooftop Lounge

This Old City locale is celebrating Valentine’s Day in Philadelphia with an interactive murder mystery dinner. Titled “Dead Men Don’t Speakeasy,” the event will feature a three-course dinner in the Kimpton Hotel Monaco’s ballroom, a champagne toast, and then guests will move to the Rooftop Lounge to enjoy assorted desserts and learn the truth about the murder.

The event will take place this Friday, Feb. 14, from 7 to 10 p.m. and comes out to be $80 per person.

Museum of Illusions

Philly’s Museum of Illusions is offering a 2-for-1 Valentine’s Day deal for this Friday, Feb. 14. While there, visitors will be able to check out some of the venue’s most popular visual illusions, including the Head on a Plate trick, Ames Room, the Vortex Tunnel, and more.

Chris’ Jazz Cafe

On Feb. 14 and Feb. 15, Chris’ Jazz Cafe will be in full swing with their “My Jazzy Valentine” event. As a release notes, vocalist Joanna Pascale and her trio will take the stage at the venue for two nights and five shows. Set times are 6:30, 8:30 and 10:30 p.m. on Valentine’s Day, and 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. on Saturday. General Admission (which includes an a-la-carte menu) is $40.

Guests can also opt for the Dinner & Show package which includes a 3-course prix fixe for $130 (plus tax and gratuity), or a VIP Dinner & Show package, which includes a 3-course dinner and stage-front seating for $150 (plus tax and gratuity.) Tickets for all shows are on sale now.

Chilly Philly Mini Golf with Love

Those who head to Franklin Square this weekend can check out the venue’s mini golf course, which has been transformed for the love-filled holiday. The 18-hole game features reproductions of Philadelphia icons and landmarks, including the Liberty Bell, Rocky Steps, and Ben Franklin Bridge, and on Feb. 14 specifically, couples who book Chilly Philly Mini Golf with LOVE get a special treat to go along with their date night (from 5 to 7 p.m.) Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for children (kids under the age of 2 are free.)

Ebba Sparre Sauna

Why not turn the heat up for Valentine’s Day in Philadelphia? This steamy pop-up experience comes from the local space-making design and development practice, Scout. Open now through March 2025, three saunas have been installed on the terrace of the American Swedish Historical Museum to offer a heated way to unwind. It offers a unique way to spend a date night, or a group date activity. Philadelphians can book sessions for up to 4 people in a sauna ($120), 8 people in two saunas ($240), or 12 people in three saunas ($360) for 45 minute sessions.
