Bensalem Police are looking for a man who broke into a beer store early yesterday morning and took over $4,500 worth of cigarettes and a six-pack of Miller Lite.
The man burglarized Suds Beer Store on Lincoln Highway shortly before 6 a.m., according to investigators. In surveillance video, he can be seen peering in the shop’s window, walking across the parking lot and returning with what appears to be a large cinder block.
He puts on sunglasses before twice smashing the block through the bottom panel of the store’s front door, shattering the glass, and crawling inside. He then uses the same block to smash through a glass partition window in the store, climbs up and launches himself over the counter into the clerk’s booth.
There, he can be seen frantically stuffing cartons of cigarettes into a large black trash bag before escaping the way he came, bag in hand.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 30s with brown hair wearing yellow rubber gloves, a long-sleeved white t-shirt, blue jeans and tan boots
