Police are seeking assistance identifying a male suspect who abducted a woman off a street in Germantown on Sunday evening.
Victim Carlesha Freeland-Gaither, 22, was spotted being dragged into a car as she cried for help around 9:40 p.m. on the 100 block of West Coulter Street in Germantown.
Freeland-Gaither dropped her glasses and cellphone as she was forced into the backseat of a four-door vehicle, a grey Ford Taurus.
Freeland-Gaither broke the front and rear windows on the passenger of the car as it drove away, according to police.
Reports say the abduction was apparently random and the FBI has reportedly joined in the investigation.
The city is offering a $10,000 reward for any information leading to finding Freeland-Gaither.
Anyone with any information about the abduction is being asked to call Northwest Detectives at 215-686-3353/3354 or text a tip to PPD TIP (773847).
