A Villanova history instructor is under arrest after investigators said they found 415 images of child pornography on his home computer.
Christopher Haas, 60, was an associate professor of history and classical studies at the university.
“It’s sad,” Radnor Township Police Lt. Andrew J. Block told reporters Thursday. “It’s disappointing that someone in the educational field would be doing this.”

Haas was also caught using a shared computer at Villanova’s St. Augustine Center late at night to view child pornography, Tedjeske said.
Haas was previously investigated for similar crimes in 2012 by the Department of Homeland Security, but the investigation was kept confidential and Villanova was never made aware of Haas’ alleged illegal activity.
