McGillin’s is not only offering a prime spot with multiple TVs to watch the 2024 Summer Olympics in Philly, the hotspot is also offering a list of themed cocktails for the occasion. Throughout the Games, locals can sip on their Gold Medal Martini (complete with a gold sugar rim), French 75, or World Record Splash (made with tequila, raspberry, grapefruit and salt), plus try new bites from the kitchen.
New menu items span the “Fare” Burger, aka a French onion burger, Moules Frites, a Coq Au Vin Sandwich and Salad Lyonnaise.

Panorama
To commemorate the occasion in a spirited way, Panorama will be offering two different themed wine flights. The “Olympic Flight to France” ($38) will feature a tour of French Sommelier picks spanning both classic and unique origins and styles. The “Olympic Medal Hopeful Origins” flight on the other hand ($36) will boast a sampling of sips from origins around the globe, to celebrate the diversity of the athletes participating.
Plus, the acclaimed wine bar is adding two special French sparkling wines to its extensive wine list for the entirety of the games so “guests can raise a glass to the competitors.”

Iron Hill Brewery
Those looking to celebrate and watch the 2024 Summer Olympics in Philly can head to Iron Hill from July 26 to Aug. 11 to try out their Gold-Medal Flight ($10) and Gold-Medal 4-Pack ($14.25). The former is a flight of four “Gold-medal winning beers” including the Vienna Red Lager, Pig Iron Porter, Russian Imperial Stout, and King’s Gold. The latter features two cans of the Lager and the Stout.
As a bonus, on days when team USA wins, King’s Gold pints will be just $5 for the rest of the day.

Patchwork
Locals can cheers on the Games while at Patchwork through a new cocktail added to the menu: The frozen Firecracker ($16) is made with vodka, Meyer Lemon, Cherry and Curaçao, and it’s meant to pay homage to the nostalgic Firecracker ice pops. Guests also have the option to pair their cocktail with either a Burger or a Philly Roast Pork for $29 as well, the release notes.

Independence Beer Garden
Those looking to watch the 2024 Summer Olympics in Philly can head to this Old City staple. Located just steps from Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell, IBG boasts over 20,000 square feet with four distinct seating areas featuring picnic tables, vintage garden chairs, and cozy Adirondack chairs, plus two bars, a large projector TV, and lots of games to play including giant Connect Four, Jenga, and Baggo.
On the menu and from the bar, Philadelphians can find an assortment of treats to munch and sip on. Food-wise, the venue offers classic American fare, such as everything pretzel bites, al pastor tacos, cheeseburger sliders, a spicy Caesar and a turkey BLT.

Townsend
Townsend Wentz’s acclaimed French eatery will be serving up a Tasting Menu ($95/person) to showcase French gastronomy from July 26 to Aug. 11. Dish highlights span Confit Rabbit Tortellini with sauce lapin, maitake mushrooms, and spinach, Roasted Duck Breast with potato pavé, summer vegetables, and sauce au poivre, and a Valrhone Chocolate Soufflé with amaretto crème anglaise.
While there, Philadelphians can also sip on the new themed “When in Martinique” cocktail. The rum-based semi-tropical sipper is made with Martinique Rhum Agricole, velvet falernum, pear, lemon, and house-made coconut cream.
